I am a retired pro rodeo cowboy & & contended in Bare Back bronc riding 15 years & & Bull Riding for 28, Dec. 1970 I made clinical history when doctors tried to repair my chest which had been divided in half due to a bull riding accident 2.5 years earlier. 1971 after taking top place in BR at the Sikeston Mo rodeo, I was awarded the Comback Cowboy of the year award. 1973, I was crowned Bull Ridding Champion of Florida. 1974 I ended up being the very first guy from Alabama to compete at the World Series of rodeo The National Finals qualifying among the top 15 bull riders of the world.
